Sonoma County Fair, August, 2012.
I shot a bunch of similar work years ago. I find it interesting/compelling that the camera is able to take an unnatural and static object and transform it into a (relatively) natural subject that seems to be caught between moments (i.e., alive).
Not claiming any special insight here, though. Hiroshi Sugimoto has a great collection of images that address the same subject/idea. And his images are beautiful.
