i like the warmth and the ambiguity of the image, but i wish there was more detail/clarity, especially in the upper region.

agreed...

and to do that, i think i need to (a) buy a decent digital slr... (i'm leaning toward the canon 30d)... and (b) buy a new copy of photoshop...

that said, thanks for the crit... i appreciate the directness... and the good eye...

i like the tear, but maybe angle the two in different directions or overlap a little at an angle to show the rip more?

(laugh)... i hope you mean the actual face... and not some allegory involving the tear...

alluring?... hhhmmm... that is very flattering... thank you...

i'm more tempted by the 20d because of the price difference... did you ever own the 20d?... or just the 30d?...

oh my...now i really like this
the color gives it a lonely autumn feel and the ripped edges...*claps*
its a very clean dirty....if that makes sense without sounding like a fucktarded oxymoron.

The tone just grabs me, its so astounding how much a color change and alittle raggedness can do to a picture...how different the two can be in the mental and emotional state it puts on the viewer.

It should be draped clumsily on the deep umber walls that are crackiling with ages of laughter and absorbed tales of a hushed coffee shop....I plainly sitting there savoring my sweltering "joe" with it confronting me as I look up at it and it looks down at me...having a connection of mezmorizing seduction of itellectual pondering.
just the 30. i was looking into the 20d but was sold on the larger lcd screen. also, from reviews ive read the af & spot metering are better with the 30.
