it is popular to discuss these kind of images in terms of cartier-bresson's "decisive moment"...
popular and, in my opinion, often misleading and the rhetoric of elitist apologetics...
mmm. fancy words. the pole on the right is annoying me, and i think a crop would help anyway... the focus is fantastic.. because they are each so sharp, they seem to merge as one. which turns the boys into forms i guess... the angles of their arms becomes more pronounced when you look at it that way, which im sure im preaching to the converted here. (i just want reassurance ) What am i trying to say? well... that it works nicely as a sort of optical illusion.. the more you look, the more things change. OR i might just be reading into it a bit much. And that environment, its so sparse! way cool. do you live near/in a rural area? i know weve seen it before.
i wish... this was one of those moments that has no real significance... but there is something about the gesture/forms that seems to invite projection...

but i do like the otherwise rural/plain atmosphere and the lighting.
