i am still snapping a few of these when i find a new subject and time allows...
i think that is definitely part of it... i mean, that is the part of the significance/meaning that i expect to be projected by the viewer...
however, for what it is worth (which is probably not much), it is a small section of an inflatable slide at an indoor playground for children... which makes me chuckle in a sinister way...
(laugh)... wow... really?... he thought it was a crotch?...
you know, that is very gratifying... really... i want this series to be about a few things, including how the way the image is seen is fundamental... i.e., how projection by the audience is a fundamental and integral part of art... and that is/was projection at its simplest form...
and i love that it reveals so much about him...
(smile)... and i am pleased someone likes this series... in all honesty (and with due humility), of all of my work, i think this is perhaps the most gallery-worthy/gallery-ready...
(1)... for what it worth, this is a small portion of an inflatable slide at an indoor playground for children... and, yes, i do love the irony/perversity of that...

i'm sorry... i thought it was merely sarcasm... i had no idea that it was something as elevated as irony... (grin)...

i'm glad you're shooting for this series again.
